America: Home of the Booty Call

The latest National Survey of Sexual Health and Behavior, conducted by the Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University, is out — and its findings indicate we Americans have definitely been getting our sexxy on since the last survey in 1992.

Published in the October 2010 issue of The Journal of Sexual Medicine, the survey shows Americans are having more sex at younger ages than ever before. What’s more, the behavior with the greatest number of new adherents is anal sex.  Amazingly, 94% of women who reported opening up their trunks for their lovers also reported having an orgasm in those particular encounters, but as one writer surmised, booty calls come after: Anal sex doesn’t cause female orgasms, but female orgasms can cause anal sex.
